Fahadh Faasil has signed up a new project, we hear. The film, which will be directed by Sajimon, will also have Joju George playing an important role. Interestingly, Fahadh and Joju are also teaming up for the Saheed Arafath directorial Thankam.
The Sajimon directorial, which is scripted by Rafi, will mark the debut of production controller Badusha as producer. The film is co-produced by Shinoy Mathew. As Fahadh and Joju are busy with their current assignments, the shooting of this untitled film is expected to go on the floors early next year.
Fahadh is now busy with the Mahesh Narayanan directorial Malik. The film is bankrolled by Anto Joseph under his banner. We hear that Parvathy and Kunchacko Boban, who had both worked with Fahadh in Take Off, have been assigned important roles in the film. Biju Menon, Vinay Forrt and Nimisha Sajayan have been roped in as well. Malik is expected to hit the marquee next year.
It may be noted here that Fahadh has wrapped up the shooting of Trance and it has gone into the post production stage. Trance is scheduled for release during the Christmas weekend this year. The director of the film, Anwar Rasheed caught the attention of the movie buffs with the first look poster, which went viral instantaneously. Trance has been scripted by Vadakkan Vincent. Bankrolled by Anwar Rasheed under his banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainments, the film stars Fahadh in the lead role with Nazriya, Vinayakan, Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod, Sreenath Bhasi and Alphonse Puthran included to the cast. Apart from directing and producing the film, Anwar Rasheed is also handling the camera. Jackson Vijayan is composing music for this film with the Oscar winner Resul Pookutty taking care of the sound design.
Joju, meanwhile, has joined Mammootty’s political drama One. He is also acting in director M Padmakumar’s upcoming thriller, written by Shahi Kabir. Joju is also starring with Kunchacko Boban in Martin Prakkat’s upcoming film, also written by Shahi Kabir. In September, it was announced on Facebook that Joju is making his Tamil debut in a Dhanush starrer, directed by Karthik Subburaj.
