Fahadh Faasil starrer Kumbalangi Nights had turned out to be the first big blockbuster of the year. Post the success of the film, Fahadh Faasil & Friends are teaming up again for a crime drama.
The film has been titled Thankam, which will have Fahadh Faasil, Joju George and Dileesh Pothan play the main leads and will be helmed by Saheed Arafath who had earlier directed Theeram which had hit the screens in 2017.
Fahadh took to his social media and shared the title and poster of the film. He posted saying, "With my good friends to share on board again, thrills! Fahadh Faasil and Friends with Working Class Hero is happy to announce our next “THANKAM”, a crime drama Directed by Saheed Arafath.2020 release."
While the film will have script by Syam Pushkaran who last wrote the screenplay for Kumbalangi Nights it will have music by Bijibal and Gautham Shankar will handle the cinematography.
Apart from this Fahadh has a slew of films which includes Anwar Rasheed’s Trance which is expected to hit the screens in December this year during the Christmas weekend. Trance has been scripted by Vadakkan Vincent. Bankrolled by Anwar Rasheed under his banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainments, the film stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead role with Nazriya, Vinayakan, Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod, Sreenath Bhasi and Alphonse Puthran also included to the star cast.
Fahadh and director Mahesh Narayanan teamed up for Take Off making it a grand success. They are back together for a new film titled Malik. The film has gone on the floors already with Fahadh Faasil joining the sets in Fort Kochi.
Malik is bankrolled by Anto Joseph under his banner. On the star cast roped in for Malik, we hear that Parvathy and Kunchacko Boban, who had both worked with Fahadh in Take Off, have been assigned important roles. Biju Menon, Vinay Forrt and Nimisha Sajayan have been roped in as well. Malik is expected to hit the marquee next year.
