Telangana poet Vara vara Rao arrested in Hyderabad

The News Minute| September 21, 2014| 12.45 pm ISTLiterary critic and Telangana poet Vara vara rao has been arrested on Sunday after being denied police permission to hold a seminar and rally in Hyderabad.Prathyamnaya Rajakeeya Vedika (PRV) had requested permission from police to hold a rally from Indira park to the seminar’s venue at sundarayya vigana kendram. However, permission was denied for holding the rally and seminar by the Hyderabad police.PRV convenor Vara vara Rao has been arrested and taken to the police station, while delegates of the seminar have been detained by the police.Hyderabad DCP Central Zone said that PRV headed by Rao was a frontal organization for the CPI (Maoist) said the Indian Express in its report.
