Telangana Chief Minister's Office to be housed in Saifabad Palace

The News Minute | August 25, 2014 | 07:53 pm ISTThe Saifabad Palace will be used as the Telangana Chief Minister's office after renovations, states a report by Deccan Chronicle. The renovation could cost around Rs 20 crore. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gives utmost importance to Nizam-era heritage structures, adds the report. The Saifabad Palace' unique architectural features include grand semi-circular arches, imposing arched portico, Corinthian columns, high ceiling and an ornate staircase.
