Hyderabad man arrested for allegedly butchering, burning Congolese wife

In a shocking incident, a stockbroker was handed over to the police after allegedly butchering his wife, Cynthia, a Congolese national, and later setting her body parts ablaze in the outskirts of Hyderabad on Monday night.

The Times of India reported:

At 7.30 pm, locals noticed the stockbroker, Rupesh Kumar Agarwal, pulling out a suitcase from a Ford Eco Sport SUV at Madanpally village. Agarwal set the suitcase ablaze using petrol and when people approached him, he tried to flee in the SUV. However, the SUV got stuck in slush and locals managed to pin him down. Later, he was handed over to cops.

The report adds that the couple had been married for eight years and even had a seven-year-old daughter. A case has been registered and the motive is being ascertained.
