A 24-year-old trainee graphic designer, Krishna Dayanand Choudhary who was part of the editing team of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ was arrested for leaking a clip.

The second installment of the blockbuster movie is being shot in a specially constructed set inside Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Since the movie makers have been trying their best to keep the plot of the movie a tight secret, it came as a huge shock for the industry when a clip was leaked.

According to reports, a 9-minute long movie clip was leaked. However, only 2.50 minutes long video was shared on social media and Whatsapp on Tuesday. The produced said more videos are stolen from the editing unit.

The Hyderabad cyber crime took Krishna into custody and the video has been seized.

The leaked video had an action sequence with actors Prabhas and Anushka in it. One of the reasons that fans got hooked to Baahubali was its intriguing story and the suspense of why Baahubali was killed will be released in the second edition.

“The producer, Shobu Yarlagadda, saw the video on YouTube last night, and today he filed a complaint,” said Sri Raghuveer, Asst.Commissioner of Cyber Crime police.

Krishna had stolen the video from the editing unit and shared it with his friends in Vijayawada.

After sharing the video, he had formatted his phone on Tuesday morning, while rest of the video was found on his computer.

“We are still investigating whether the video was uploaded by him or his friends in Vijayawada,” Raghuveer said.

“He has been booked under section 43 (b) in The Information Technology Act, 2000, for downloading data without permission and Section 66 of The Information Technology Act, 2000,” he added.
