Vijay fans vs Ajith fans: Theatre forced to say it's just business for them

Written by : TNM Staff

The fight between the fan clubs of Thala (actor Ajith) and Thalapathy (actor Vijay) continues. But this time, the reason was the promotion done by Ram Muthuram Theatre group based out of Tirunelveli for Ajith's movie Vedalam in social media.  The incessant publicity given to Ajith’s latest movie Vedalam seems to have not gone down too well with Vijay fans.

On one end, Vijay’s fans were upset and tweeted that they thought Ram Muthuram theatre supported actor Vijay’s movies. On the other, actor Ajith’s fans were celebrating and enjoying their superstar’s new movie release with a full house opening.

By the end of it, the Ram Muthuram theatre had to publish a statement which said, “We are not a fan page or biased media page, we run a theatre and we release every big hero movies. So, it is necessity for us to provide promotion for Thala or Thalapathy we will promore the same for both.”

Here are the tweets tweeted by Ajith and Vijay fans:
