TN Polls: PMK takes it up a notch, promises iPads and free education

In its election manifesto released on Friday, the PMK has promised free iPads and internet to all the students in Tamil Nadu.

The document stated, “Right from pen to bus passes, everything will be given free to students.” It also promises free internet in all public places like bus stops and parks.

The manifesto also states that if the party comes to power they will be paying the fees of students who are studying in private schools till the quality of education in both government and private schools are in par.

The manifesto also promises to waiver off the student loans from public sector banks.

Other than benefits for students, PMK also announced that they will increase maternity allowance to Rs. 20,000 and also provide one litre milk to all mothers each day from the birth of a child.
