This theatre in Chennai is running 55 shows of Rajinikanth's Lingaa on its first day

The News Minute | December 12, 2014 | 12.20 pm ISTWith the Lingaa fever spreading, theatres in Chennai are not far behind in cashing in on fans’ demands. One theatre in Chennai has 55 shows running simultaneously spaced out throughout the day. With the first show planned at 1:30 am, the shows being played at Mayajaal in Chennai will give an equal opportunity for all fans to catch the Superstar’s movie on the first day itself. Additionally, the theatre has planned a whopping 87 shows for the second day of Lingaa's release. Starting at 7 am on Saturday, the shows some of them starting simultaneously , will go on until midnight. With celebrations beginning from early Friday morning, here are some pictures from across the state.
