After repeated criticism from the media for Stalin’s recent campaign ‘Namakku Nammey’ which has grabbed attention for his clothing and attire, now, BJP President Tamilisai Soundararajan has criticized it by calling it ‘drama’. PMK founder Anbu Ramadoss has challenged Stalin for a public debate yet again.

Pointing to the recent campaign by Stalin, which DMK claims is not aimed at the 2016 Assembly elections, the TN BJP President TamilIsai Soundarajan said, “People won’t be deceived by dramas in the name of rallies by political leaders.”

In the 'Namakku Nammey' campaign, which roughly translates to “let’s do things for ourselves”, Stalin has planned to cover 234 Assembly constituencies in three phases before the Assembly elections.

As Stalin is travelling around the state trying to understand the issues of the people, other political parties are getting ready for the Assembly elections. Jayalalithaa has asked her party members to start working at the booth level and PMK has selected Anbumani Ramdoss as their CM candidate for the elections.  

DMK has quite a few challenges to face with the ongoing 2G scam case and the welfare schemes provided by the AIADMK government to the public and the huge investments in the State.
