Weeks after Vendhar movies producer S Madhan went missing, officials on Thursday informed the Madras High Court that Madhan’s associates Sudhir and Guna have also gone missing. Police suspects they took more than Rs 60 crores from aspiring medical students.

The police have received more than 60 complaints against Madhan and his associates from parent of aspiring medical students. It also includes complaint against SRM college. Madhan’s family had filed a missing complaint.

Madhan had written in a letter that he was going to Varanasi to commit suicide. On Thursday, the prosecution told a division bench of Justice S Nagamuthu and Justice V Bharathidasan that police had no breakthrough in the case as yet, as reported by Times of India. A police team has been deployed in Varanasi.

The judges also told the prosecutor not to disclose all the details of the case in the open court proceedings.

The judges said that he was satisfied with the investigation. “We are hopeful that he (ADSP) would unearth the disputed facts and come up with an appropriate action,” they said, reported by TOI.

However, when the officer asked for four weeks, judges granted them only two weeks. The next hearing of the case will be on July 16.
