Here is some good news for Rajinikanth fans. A month after the superstar held a meet for his fans in Chennai, the cinema veteran has announced that he will be meeting them again for an interaction in two months.

Rajinikanth met his fans from May 15 to May 19, 2017. During his interaction, he had said that he will join politics when the time comes.

While addressing the media on his way back from Mumbai after a 10-day shooting schedule for the movie Kaala, he said that he will be meeting his fans in the next two months. When asked about the current political situation in the state, he refused to comment, reported The Times of India.

Rajinikanth was visited by Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis while he was in Mumbai. This has further fueled speculations about his affinity to the BJP.

Last month, hinting that he will join politics, he had said, “I have my profession, my job. You have your jobs to return to. Go back to your places and do your job. We will come back when it’s time for the war.”

He had also cleared the air by saying that he is ‘Pachchai Tamizhan’, a true blood son of Tamil soil. “I am always asked if I am Tamizhan. I am 66 years old. I lived for 22 years in Karnataka and for 44 years in Tamil Nadu. I may have come here as a Marathi or Kannadiga. But you all gave me love, respect and fame. You made me a Tamizhan. I am a Pachchai Tamizhan.”

Meanwhile, Sri Lankan foreign affairs minister Ravi Karunanayake told reporters on Thursday that Rajinikanth can visit Sri Lanka whenever he wants. The actor had to cancel the inauguration of houses for the Sri Lankan Tamils after opposition from VCK and DMDK parties.
