Written by : TNM

Almost three days after AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa was acquitted by the Karnataka High Court, some clear details on the next steps by the party have emerged after a call to hold the party legislature meeting. The legislature party meeting which will include all party MLAs will be held on May 22 next week in Chennai. However, the swearing-in of Jayalalithaa as Chief Minister is expected to be on May 23 or 24th morning, say sources in the AIADMK. The reason attributed for the delay has been her health condition and the impending clarification of the verdict to be made by the judge regarding the disproportionate wealth case, which is said to be expected next week.
