Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced power cuts in some areas in Chennai on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Power will be shut down from 9 am to 4 pm to carry out maintenance work. However, if the works are completed before 4 pm, power supply will be restored immediately by TANGEDCO.

Here is the list of areas that will face power cut on Thursday:

Velachery West and Central

Part of 100 feet Byepass Road, Devi Karumariamman Nagar, Bhel Sakthi Nagar, Officer Colony, Selliamman Nagar, and Maheswari Nagar.

Perambur East, Agaram and TVK Nagar

Madurai Swamy 1st to 3rd Street, East Street, Vasanth Apartment, TVK Nagar part, Thillai Nayagam 1st to 5th Street, Teeds garden 1st to 7th Street, PM Road, Ballard Street, ESI Hospital, SRP Koil (North), Police Quarters, Sundara Vinayagar Koil Street, Perambur Park Street, Raghavan Street, Market Street, Perambur High Road one part, Beset Road, MH Road, Sabapathy Street, 70-feet Road, Periyar Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Loco Works Road 1st and 2nd Street, GKM Colony 1st and 2nd Street, and Narayanan Street.
