Watch video: The city of Homs in Syria resembles a ghost town

Written by : TNM Staff

The city of Homs in Syria, which has borne the brunt of the violence between ISIS and government forces, has been reduced to rubble as evident from previously unseen drone footage that has been released.

Homs now resembles a ghost town with most buildings dilapidated and razed to the ground.

Syria’s third largest city has been at the centre of a raging civil war, which has claimed the lives of thousands. It was in fact called the ‘capital of the revolution’ in early 2011.

The city is now under the control of the government led by Bashar al-Assad.

Here is the video.
