A day after news broke that IIT Madras derecognized a student body on an order by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), scenes have taken an ugly turn on Saturday with protestors of student bodies being taken away by the police from outside the college campus. The Ambedkar-Periyar Study Circle was recognized on Friday for creating caste divisions and spewing hatred towards upper castes, Hindus and Prime Minister Narendra Modi following an anonymous complaint received by the MHRD.Students and members with the Democratic Youth Foundation of India (DYFI) and RSYF had taken to the streets in protest.  Video of 5C1-vYk2xlo
