Delhi boys do India proud; watch them catch woman's attacker, hand him to police

Long known as India’s rape capital, Delhi’s youth have done the city proud: hearing a woman’s screams for help, they rushed to catch the man who was allegedly attempting to rob her.

According to a report in The Times of India, the incident actually occurred on August 19, nearly a month ago. But CCTV footage of the attempted robbery only surfaced recently. It has been uploaded by LiveLeak.

A group of young men who were playing football in a park heard a woman screaming. When they got there, they saw a woman teary-eyed and a man running away, according to the TOI report. The group, which is known as the Malaviya Nagar Maniacs gave chase, and almost dint catch him.

The woman, according to the TOI report, is an Uzbek national.

But when they did, they gave him a few blows before handing him over to the police
