Street dogs hacked in Kerala's Kollam district allegedly for 'arms training'

In the continuing spate of violence being reported against dogs from different parts of the country, two street dogs were hacked using a sword in Kollam district of Kerala. One of the dogs is dead while the other one is badly injured.

According to the locals, the dogs were attacked as part of some armed training. The people around the area have told media that this is not the first time that dogs were used for armed training.

Some groups allegedly practice weapons training by attacking street dogs.

“Two dogs were found hacked, one was dead. We are not sure whether it was part of armed training, we have registered a case,” MK Prashanth, sub-inspector Anchalamoodu told The News Minute.
