A 27-year-old man died on Saturday morning after his motorcycle hit a stray bull which was crossing the road near the Subramanyapura Post Office in Bengaluru on Saturday. The deceased, Ravi Kumar, lived in Uttarahalli and worked as a paratha maker.

It was reported that, he set about his usual course of work and had left home to supply parathas to hotels and shops, when the accident took place. At around 6 in the morning, his bike hit a stray bull which was crossing the road, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. He fell down and was injured, sustaining major head injuries. Onlookers in the vicinity took him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared that he was brought in dead.

“On Saturday around 6 am, while he was riding to a hotel to deliver parathas, a bull suddenly crossed the road. It hit the scooter and Ravi Kumar fell, sustaining severe head injuries,” police told The Hindu.

Kumaraswamy Layout traffic police have taken up the case and are said that they were looking into the matter.

A similar accident had resulted in the death of another man in Bengaluru on Saturday. 35-year-old Mukesh Kumar Jha, a resident of Vidya Nagar, died on Saturday after sustaining injuries in a car accident.

Mukesh, who was an employee with a private firm, was driving the car when he crashed into a compound wall near Chikkajala in the early hours of Saturday morning. The police said that the accident took place when he was returning home from work. According to reports, the police have stated that Mukesh lost control of the car while taking a turn and ended up crashing into the wall. He died on the spot after sustaining several injuries.
