On his birthday, Parameshwara repeats his wish: He wants to be deputy chief minister

He is perceived as the force that challenges Chief Minister Siddaramiah.In spite of the Congress forming a government in Karnataka in 2013, Parameshwar, the man credited for a lot of work could not get a cabinet seat as he lost elections. But now Parameshwar has been made a member of the Legislative Council and has openly declared he wants to be deputy Chief Minister.After his birthday celebrations on Wednesday, he said, "If high command gives me responsibility, I am ready to take it."He also said that in 2013 he wanted to become chief minister, but could not secure people's mandate. A meeting of the KPCC backward class unit has endorsed Parameshwar for deputy chief minister.
