A bar supervisor in Bengaluru is critical after customers rammed a car into him post a fight over cucumber.

According to The Times of India report, four businessmen from Abbigere and 10 workers of Sangeeta Bar and restaurant at Seshadripuram area in Bengaluru were arrested after the incident.

The police said that the customers, Prashanth, Bhaskar, Sanjeev and Naveen from Abbigere, near Hesaraghatta, north Bengaluru, went to Sangeetha Bar and Restaurant around 11.30pm. The bar staff asked them to leave as it was closing time for the bar. The customers had an altercation with the bar employees over cucumbers they had ordered.

However, the customers returned at 12:30 am in an Innova and assaulted one of the bar employees and tried to leave. So as to not let them get away, the bar supervisor, Abhejeet Das sat on the bonnet, reported TOI.

“The driver didn’t stop, instead accelerated the vehicle. Abhijeet was thrown off the car and sustained head injuries. His condition is critical,” Sandeep Patil, DCP (central), said.
