Bajrang Dal activists rough up two journalists in Bangaluru

The News Minute | January 18, 2015 | 11 am ISTTwo journalists working for Kannada news channel TV 9 were allegedly roughed up and their equipment damaged by Bajrang Dal activists in Bengaluru on Sunday evening.According to the channel, two journalists, a reporter and a camera person were roughed up by Bajrang Dal activists in the Sadashivnagar area of the city afterthe vehicle of the journalists collided with the car of the activists. The activists also damaged the vehicle and manhandled the camera as well.The state president of the Bajrang Dal Suryanarayana told the news channel later in the evening that he did not have information on who those activists were, but apologized for their behaviour.Tweet
