The shooting of the horror flick Zombie has been wrapped up and it is now in the post-production stages. Reports are that the team is looking for a suitable release date and will be making an announcement soon. Zombie will be the second zombie movie to be made in the Tamil film industry and the film is directed by Bhuvan R Nullan of Mo fame.

In this film, Yashika plays a doctor, revealed the film’s director Bhuvan R Nullan. Yogi Babu and Yashika Anand will be the central characters with importance, said the director in an interview. Both these characters have a connection in the film and it is being kept as suspense, said the director.
On making this kind of a film, the director has been quoted by the cinemaexpress.com as saying, “I was very particular not to end up being offensive or derogatory while writing the script. There will be lots of perky fun and atypical scares, but not at the cost of hurting anyone.”
It will be first ever film of that genre to be shot in 3D and technicians that have worked on the magnum opus 2.O have been roped in for this project as well. The film also stars Parithabangal fame Gopi and Sudhakar, Bijili Ramesh, Karthik, Chitra Akka and a host of other comedy actors. Premji Amaren is composing music for Zombie.
