While Ajith’s fans are going gaga over his birthday today and are celebrating it in a grand manner, for the star himself it will be a working birthday. Currently in Serbia along with the Vivegam team, Thala will be spending the day at the shooting spot, say sources.

Ajith’s fans, meanwhile, have planned for social welfare activities such as blood donation and organ donation camps apart from a host of activities such as book distribution and giving away tailoring machines. Also, his fans will be celebrating their star’s birthday with the re-release of the movie Amarkalam, which is reportedly his 25th film. Interestingly, he was paired with Shalini in the film and they reportedly fell in love while working on the project which eventually led to their marriage later.

On the progress of Vivegam, we hear that Ajith and team are busy working day-in and day-out to ensure that it is wrapped soon. Reports have it that Vivegam is scheduled to hit the silver screens in August this year and the work is on to meet this deadline. Directed by Siva, with whom Ajith is teaming up for the third time after the grand success of Veeram and Vedhalam, the film is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. Pairing up with Thala are two leading ladies, Kajal Agarwal and Akshara Haasan.

According to reports, a major portion of Vivegam has been shot abroad as the script demands it. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Vetri is wielding the camera with Rubens roped in for editing. The film has two villains – Vivek Oberoi and Arav Choudhury – in the star cast.

And as a special treat for Ajith’s fans all over the world, the makers of Vivegam have released a fresh new poster featuring the star.
