Ajith’s fans have been waiting for a long time for the filmmakers of Thala 57 to reveal the film’s title and first look. With the unit back from Bulgaria last month after a gruelling schedule that spanned over several weeks, expectations were rife over the title and first look launch.

Reports from Kollywood on this suggest that it may be revealed after Pongal. With director Siva banking on the ‘Thursday’ sentiment for his previous Ajith starrers, looks like it will done on a Thursday.

Siva had directed Ajith in Veeram and Vedhalam and both the films have been excellent box office grossers. One guess about the title that is doing rounds is that it may begin with the alphabet ‘V’ so that the duo – Ajith and Siva – can score a hat-trick.

With music scored by Anirudh, the film has Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan playing the female leads. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Thala 57 is expected to hit the screens this summer.
