If there is one film that the film buffs are waiting eagerly for, then it has to be the Jr NTR – Ram Charan Teja starrer which is to be directed by SS Rajamouli. The Baahubali director is working on this flick right now and is busy assembling his star cast. With two top stars from Tollywood teaming up for this flick, there were huge expectations on who would go on to bag the offer to play the female lead. And now, reports have emerged that Rashi Khanna will be paired up with Jr NTR and talks are on with Samantha to play Ram Charan’s love interest.

Apparently, Rajamouli is interested to cast Samantha in the film as he had worked with her earlier in the smash hit Eega /Naan Ee. And this is not the first time he is teaming up with Ram Charan for they came out with the smash hit Maghadheera much earlier. Further, the director’s interest to cast her in the film went up after the teaser of Rangasthalam was out.

Rangasthalam, bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under the banner Mythrie Movie Makers, is made on a budget of Rs. 60 crores. The film, which is directed by Sukumar, is slated to hit the silver screens on March 30th.

Reports are that the shooting of the SS Rajamouli directorial will begin in August this year and in the mean time, Jr NTR would have wrapped up the Trivikram Srinivas directorial which will go on to the floors soon. Rajamouli is working on the script right now and sources say that it will offer equal scope for performance for both the stars.

We hear that Ram Charan and Jr NTR would be playing brothers in this flick which has boxing as its backdrop. Special boxing training sessions have been arranged for the actors so that they can get to know the nuance of the martial art, add sources.

While the movie buffs are waiting eagerly to know the title, rest of the star cast and crew of this magnum opus, we need to wait for some more days as the director is busy with the prep work.
