Santhanam is on a signing spree following the success of Dhilukku Dhuddu, which was well received by critics and also turned out to be a commercial hit. Since then, the comedian-turned-hero has signed four projects including one with Dhilukku Dhuddu director, KS Manikandan’s directorial Oodi Oodi Uzhaikanum, the multi-starrer Sakka Podu Podu Raja with Vivekh and the yet-untitled film with Selvaraghavan. Having already commenced work in the multi-starrer with veteran comedian Vivekh, Santhanam has a very, very busy lineup.

In Selvaraghavan’s project, which will be set against IT backdrop, Santhanam is being paired with Sai Pallavi, according to reliable sources. Although the makers haven’t made any official announcement, it is believed that Pallavi was excited about the project because she’s a huge fan of Santhanam. However, she can only join the project next year, as she’ll be occupied with Sekhar Kammula’s Fida and a Malayalam project till the year-end. The project marks Santhanam’s first collaboration with Selvaraghavan, who awaits the release of Nenjam Marappathillai.

Meanwhile, Santhanam also awaits the release of Server Sundaram, in which he has played a chef.
