Music composer Hip Hop Thamizha has confirmed that Rana Daggubati will be turning a rapper for the upcoming film Action. Confirming the news, Hip Hop Thamizha wrote on Twitter, “For the first time ever, @RanaDaggubati raps Been a huge fan of him and he spit 8bars for the telugu version of #LightsCameraAction - Thank you Rana anna, U R DA COOLEST.”

The rap song that goes by the lyrics Lights, Camera, Action, was recently recorded at a studio in Hyderabad. Hip Hop Thamizha shared pics of the song recording and it has gone viral among the netizens. Action, as the title indicates, is an action film directed by Sundar C and produced by R. Ravindran under the banner Trident Arts. The film has Vishal and Tamannaah in the lead roles, with Aishwarya Lekshmi and Yogi Babu playing supporting roles. Dudley is the cinematographer for this venture with NB Sreekanth in charge of the editing.

It may be noted that, while speaking at the film's press meet, Vishal said, “Action has the maximum number of action scenes in my career. The film also caused a lot of injuries for me. At one point, Sundar C and Anbariv suggested to go for body double but I refused and performed the action scenes on my own. My chemistry with Tamannaah in the action scenes has come out well.”

Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati is getting ready to join the sets of Virata Parvam. Touted to be a romance film, it will have Rana romancing Sai Pallavi. The buzz is that the filmmakers have roped in the Hollywood stunt director Stefan Richter to choreograph the action sequences. The film is directed by Venu Udugula of Naadi Needi Oke Kadha fame. Tabu, Priyamani, Eswari Rao and Zareena Wahab have been roped in to play the supporting roles in it.
