Ram Charan consults with Chiranjeevi to get on board the SS Rajamouli multi-starrer

Tollywood star Ram Charan Teja is busy wrapping up his upcoming release Rangasthalam. The film is due for release on March 30 and the team is busy with the post-production and promo activities. He will then move over to the Boyapati Srinivas directorial which has not been titled yet.

It is already well known that soon after Ram Charan is done with the Boyapati film, he will be hopping over to the SS Rajamouli directorial. According to reports, the shooting of this film will commence in August this year and the director is currently going ahead with the prep work to get it on to the floors.

Being a multi starrer, Ram Charan will be sharing the screen space with Jr NTR, another top hero in the Telugu film industry. According to sources in the tinsel town, Ram Charan consulted his father, the megastar Chiranjeevi and had a lengthy discussion with him before accepting the project.

An experienced star with 150 films to his credit, Chiru reportedly told his son to encourage multi starrers in Tollywood as it would provide fodder for one’s acting skills. Sources add that the young star took up the SS Rajamouli directorial after getting the go-ahead from his dad. It may be noted here that the film will have Jr NTR playing the male lead along with Ram Charan.

The shooting of the SS Rajamouli directorial will commence in August according to the latest reports, the film’s release is scheduled to be next year.  In the mean time, Ram Charan will be completing the Boyapati Srinu directorial and Jr NTR would be done with the Trivikram Srinivas directorial which he has committed to.
