Written by : TNM

Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, who is admitted in a Chennai-based hospital after sustaining a leg injury recently, is showing signs of recovery and has just started walking.

The 60-year old slipped and fell off his office stairs and fractured his right leg two weeks ago and since then has been under medical care. On Tuesday, he revealed that he finally got off his bed and tried to walk with some assistance.

“Was up on my feet. A small spin around the room. Of course with two to assist on either side like Gandhiji ;). Today was less painful,” Haasan wrote on his Twitter page. Since his injury, the shoot of his trilingual film Sabash Naidu has gone haywire. The second schedule of the film, which was supposed to commence in the last week of July, has now been pushed to September.

Kamal is directing as well as playing the lead in Sabash Naidu, which is being simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishnan, Brahmanandam and Saurabh Shukla.
