Jacqueline Fernandez, a popular actor, former model, and winner of the 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant, is known for her sizzling numbers such as Aapka Kya Hoga, Jaadu Ki Jhappi, and Ek Do Teen. The gorgeous actor is now in talks for a dance performance in Nikhil Kumar’s upcoming film Seetharama Kalyana. 

According to sources, the filmmakers are keen on getting her on board this project, which is being bankrolled by Channabika Productions, a production house that belongs to the Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy’s family. Interestingly, Seetharama Kalyana features Nikhil Kumar, son of Kumaraswamy in the lead role. It looks like Jacqueline Fernandez will be shaking a leg with the CM’s son in this film if things work out favourably. She is currently abroad and will be finalising the deal on her return, sources add.

The film, directed by A Harsha, has Rachita Ram playing the female lead. Tamil actor Sarath Kumar has been roped in to play a powerful role in Seetharama Kalyana along with Ravi Shankar and Madhoo. Ravi Basrur is composing the tunes for this venture while J Swamy is handling the camera. Recently, CM Kumaraswamy visited the sets of Seetharama Kalyana.

Nikhil Kumar made his acting debut with the bilingual Jaguar, released in Kannada and Telugu a couple of years ago. Directed by Mahadev, the film had Deepti Sati playing the female lead. The young actor is currently expecting the release of Kurukshetra, a historical based on Mahabharata in which he shares the screen space with several top heroes in the Kannada film industry including Darshan, Arjun Janya, Ambareesh and V Ravichandran. This film is currently into the post-production mode and is likely to hit the silver screens this year. Made on a huge budget, Kurukshetra is bankrolled by Muni Ratna under his banner KCN Movies.
