With the Pakistani team at 1-4, the Indian neighbours finally lost to the West Indians by 150 runs. Even as social media erupted, this time however, the Pakistani cricket community publicly lashed out at their team for their crushing defeat at a team that had been beaten by Ireland. Shoaib Akhtar who appeared on Geo TV targeted Younis Khan and primarily, Mishbah ul-Haq, the team’s captain in a 4 minute edited video. “I have never seen a selfish captain who plays only for himself,” he said about Misbah. The entire middle order has changed except for Misbah. He plays only for himself, he said.
