After winning 17 international awards,The Court wins 'Best Feature Film' at National Awards

The News Minute | March 23, 2015 | 06.20 pm ISTAfter winning 17 international awards, Court, a multilingual Indian drama based on the Indian courtroom scene has won in the category of 'Best Feature Film' at the 62nd National Film Awards on Tuesday. The movie will be releasing theatrically across India this April 17. Written and directed by 28 year-old Chaitanya Tamhane, the film releasing in Marathi, Hindi and Gujarai has won many distinguished awards including Best Film in the Horizons category at the Venice International Film Festival.International awards include two received at Vienna - one for the 'Lion of the Future' for the best feature film at the festival and also for best film in the Horizons category.
