Actress Priyanka Chopra who is reveling in the success of 'Quantico', is in talks to join Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in Paramount’s 'Baywatch', Variety reported.

The report adds that 'San Andreas' actress Alexandra Daddario was recently tapped to play Summer and model Kelly Rohrbach recently signed on to play C.J. Parker, while Seth Gordon is directing.

The script has been written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.

While the plot details are currently vague, quoting sources close to the project, Variety also reported that the studio is taking a comedic route with the movie, the production of which, is expected to commence in a few months.

Other reports add that scheduling conflicts with the film’s shoot and Chopra’s ABC show still need to be worked out, but the actress would play the story’s villain.

The actress plays an FBI recruit suspected of being a terrorist agent, in the ABC show.
