According to a report in the Times of India, the incident took place when Sowmith, a journalist with CVR news, was travelling on a bike and he stopped his bike after some dust fell into his eye.Following this, a white SUV that belonged to Kavita allegedly blared its siren and overtook him before stopping ahead. When confronted on why the siren was used when there was no VIP in the car, Sowmith claims the gunmen assaulted him.After the incident, he lodged a complaint with the police.Tweet
