On Tuesday, superstar Rajinikanth while replying to questions by a TV journalist in the national capital literally tried to run from questions on the forthcoming assembly elections.

The actor had travelled to Delhi to receive his Padma Vibhushan from President Pranab Mukherjee.

The iconic actor during a brief interview with Thanthi TV said that he was honoured to receive the award and that he had not expected it. He also told that he finds himself at a loss to express his heartfelt thanks.

However, when asked about his thoughts on the election bound to be held on May 16 in his home state, he said he won’t make any comments related to polities and left.
