TN Polls: Don't complain without casting your vote, says Shahrukh Khan

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan on Sunday said go vote and then complain on social media. He was in Chennai for the 20th foundation day celebration at the Hyundai plant in Sriperumbudur.

In an interview with The New Indian Express on Sunday, he said, “If you don’t vote, somehow you don’t have any reason to complain on social media either. So go and vote, choose the people that you want, and then complain if you want to.”

He added, “You can’t complain about something you were not part of.”

Talking about the youth in the country, he said that in India, 60 percent of people are under 35 and their voice matters the most.

He appealed to both the youngsters as well as the older people to cast their votes.
