Four members of a family electrocuted

In a tragic incident, four members of a family were electrocuted in Thavatharenthal village  on Friday, police said.

Lakshmi (24), carrying her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Priyadarshini, switched on the grinder and both of them were electrocuted.

Her father-in-law Vella Kanthan (54) and sister-in-law Meenal (17) were also electrocuted when they tried to rescue the mother and daughter, police said.
