DMDK chief Vijayakanth almost hits party member in Thanjavur

MDK leader Vijayakanth nearly beat up a party cadre when he came for a court hearing in Thanjavur on Thursday. 

In a video clipping by News7 channel, Vijayakanth is seen rushing into the court through a large crowd of party cadres and raising his hand on one of the party members but stops short of actually beating him.

Vijayakanth and 59 DMDK party members were charged with removing CM Jayalalithaa’s banner during one of the public meetings in Tanjore on December 28, 2015.

Vijayakanth has been granted bail in the case by a Thanjavur court on Thursday.
