Congress not to contest Srirangam by-poll

Elections for the seat vacated by AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa are to be held on February 13, however TNCC President EVKS Elangovan called the by poll an “eye wash election” , accusing various parties of using money for the same, reported PTI. "People are going to get money and cast vote. Why should Congress waste its energy?" he asked. a day ahead of the last day for filing nominations.
