Women snatchers rob man of gold chain

The News Minute | May 20, 2014 | 08:02 pm IST Gurgaon: Three women snatched a man's gold chain on Tuesday and warned the victim of levelling molestation allegations against him when he protested, police here said.Three women stopped Manish Kumar, 26, at the Management Development Institute Chowk here in the early hours when he was returning home after his night shift in a factory located in Udyog Vihar."While talking, one of the women snatched Kumar's gold chain and some cash. He was also slapped by them when he protested. They also threatened to level molestation charges against him," a police officer said.The victim, who was on a bike, reported the incident to the police.A case of snatching and threatening has been registered against the unidentified women at the Civil Lines police station but no arrests have yet been made.IANS
