Amidst growing criticism of the Modi government over alleged foreign policy failures, economic mismanagement and worsening political situation of the country, the Prime Minister has given a 90-minute long interview to Times Now Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami.

Speaking to The News Minute, Arnab Goswami said the sit-down with the PM addressed every important issue at hand and the PM answered all the questions.

“I can think of at least 15 to 20 newspoints which came out of the interview,” said Arnab Goswami, “From foreign policy to economy, Rajan and Subramaniam Swamy, he took questions on all issues.”

PTI reports that the PM, hinting at Subramaniam Swamy, has disapproved of his comments on Raghuram Rajan.

Importantly, he has also spoken about the upcoming elections in UP, said Goswami. Further, he has spoken about Kashmir, the advancements in talks made with Pakistan.

He is also said to have talked about issues like unemployment, apart from answering questions on India’s relations with China and the USA. Modi has also spoken about the recent NSG (Nuclear Suppliers Group) debacle and India joining the MCTR (Missile Control Technology Regime) club.

The interview was recorded at the Prime Minister’s residence on Monday morning.

Times Now has already started airing some portions of the interview, but the full interview will be aired at 6PM on Monday.
