When Pinarayi’s soaring plans for a “Nava” Kerala went thud!

Written by : TNM Staff

It happened at the concluding rally of the Nava Kerala March held at Shangumugham beachfront on February 15 to showcase the CPI(M) party’s people-connect to the masses.

CPI(M) politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan who had led the march was handed over a pigeon to set free to figuratively mark the grand success of the yatra.

Pinarayi is then seen releasing the pigeon into air when…the pigeon literally comes crashing down…all because someone had forgotten to untie the pigeon’s legs before handing over the bird to the veteran leader.

Maybe it was a symbolic warning to the party to untie itself from the various political tangles its leaders seem to have a knack of getting into before trying to regains its lost glory in the upcoming Assembly elections.
