SC allows Madani to visit his ailing mother in Kerala

Written by : TNM Staff

Bangalore blast case accused Abdul Nasser Madani has been allowed to visit his ailing mother in Kerala by the Supreme Court (SC). The SC said that the trial court can decide on the number of days that Madani can be at his home.

Senior advocate Prasanth Bhushan appeared for Madani in the SC. Madani’s mother has been undergoing cancer treatment and is reportedly critical.

The Karnataka government had opposed Madani’s plea for visiting his mother by arguing that the accused might influence the witnesses in Kerala.
