After intense speculations over the star couple's estranged marriage, actor Dileep made it official by filing for a divorce from his wife and actor, Manju Warrier. The actor appealed to the Ernakulam High Court to grant him divorce. Reports claim that the actor also alleges that he was mentally harassed by Manju's family. In addition, he also requested that the trial should happen in a discreet manner. He reasons that his wife being an actress and their daughter being a teenager should not exposed to unwanted media attention. The court immediately ordered an interim ban on the media reporting any information that appears in the petition. Dileep and Manju Warrier have been living separately for almost a year the actor says.Manju Warrier recently made a comeback to cinema, with her movie "How Old Are You" becoming a huge box office hit.
