Kerala businessman arrested for driving Hummer into security guard pretends to be 'sick'

The News Minute| February 3, 2015| 3.00 pm ISTMohammed Nisham, the businessman from Kerala who was arrested for ramming his car into a security guard out of rage has used the usual trick for getting out of police custody. He 'pretended' to be ill, but got busted.According to police,Nisham complained that he was suffering from severe health issues.“He said that he has some severe illness and body pain, that is how we took him to hospital. But there was no problem found in the scan reports, he is fine” says an officer from Chavakkad Sub jail.Police say that Nisham insisted to get admitted to the hospital, but doctors denied him permission.“He insisted to stay in hospital, but that was not necessary. He is healthy, the doctor told us,” says the inspector.Nisham was arrested last week for ramming his car into the security guard, and later beating him up with an iron rod. Nisham was angry at the guard for being late in opening the gate at the Shoba Group’s residential township in Thrissur on ThursdayNisham is not new to controversy, in April 2013 a case was registered against him for allowing his nine-year-old son to drive a Ferrari. In the same year, he allegedly locked a woman sub-inspector inside his brand new Rolls Royce which he was driving under the influence of alcohol.Tweet
