Written by : TNM Staff

It appears the wait could soon be over. Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s “Kabali” will release on July 29, at least in Malaysia. Rajini’s PRO Riaz tweeted promotional pictures of the film announcing its theatrical release in Malaysia.

“The official release date of ‘Kabali’ has not been announced. The producers are waiting for the film to receive the certification from the Censor Board. The posters in Malaysia have been put up by the distributors there,” said a source.

The film is being distributed in Malaysia by Malik Streams Corporation.

Although the promotional posters appear to be found in Malaysia, “Kabali” is expected to release simultaneously in India and worldwide.

“Kabali” is expected to release in about 3000 screens and is rumoured to have raked in nearly Rs 200 crore from the sale of distribution rights, endorsement deals and merchandise.
