Rumour mills are abuzz with reports that Suriya might team up with Naanum Rowdydhaan director Vignesh Shivan very soon. Although the Singam star has a project with director Muthaiah in the offing, this film with Vignesh, which is tipped to be an out-and-out comedy, will only take off next year.

Apparently, Suriya really liked Naanum Rowdydhaan and expressed his interest to work with Vignesh in a comedy, and the latter is said to have already given his nod. However, an official announcement regarding the same is awaited. To be bankrolled by Studio Green, the project will mark the return of Suriya to a full-length comic avatar after a long time.

Meanwhile, Suriya is busy wrapping up Singam 3, whose latest schedule in Malaysia has been postponed by a few weeks.
