The News Minute| November 28, 2014| 6.43 pm ISTThe whole of last month was No-Shave November, a unique initiative launched in 2009 in collaboration with the American Cancer Society to raise cancer awareness. The idea behind the initiative was to encourage awareness by embracing facial hair, which many cancer patients loose. It also encouraged people to donate money spent on grooming to educate people about cancer prevention, save lives and aid those fighting the battle. An Indian photographer Benjamin Thomas contributed his photographs to the The News Minute in dedication and support of the noble cause.
