Vikram and Kajal Aggarwal were signed on to work in Tirru’s directorial Garuda a long time ago. However, for reasons unknown, that project, which was supposed to take off post the release of Irumugan, has been postponed indefinitely. The latest update is that Vikram will be teaming up with Bramma fame Socrates, and the project will feature Kajal Aggarwal as his love interest. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet, multiple sources have confirmed the news.

Apparently, Vikram had approved Socrates’s script last October. However, he wanted the director to wait till he completes Irumugan, and soon after its release last week, as promised Vikram called and gave his nod to be part of this project. If sources are anything to go by, the Dhool actor will complete working on this film before commencing work on Saamy 2. According to the grapevine, since Hari is busy wrapping up Singam 3, Vikram decided to go ahead with Socrates’s project.

Kajal, who is busy juggling between the sets of Thala 57 and Khaidi No 150, will start working on this project simultaneously.
